UNDER 15 and UNDER 13 CHAMPIONSHIP

The main competition will be for the Stephen Gallacher Foundation Under 15 Championship.  The event will be over 54 holes, 18 on each day. There is no cut!

The tee times shall be the same on the first two days, for day 3 there will be a re-draw, with the top 15 scratch players and tied, teeing off at the back of the field. The next 15 will be the top handicap players and tied. All players thereafter will be an open draw.

There will also be an Under 13 Championship prize on the day to players who are eligible.

No player may win more than 1 prize

For the Championships there shall be the following voucher prizes:

UNDER 15 CHAMPIONSHIP

UNDER 13 CHAMPIONSHIP

1. £70 Golf Medal   Championship Trophy

3. £35 Bronze medal

 

UNDER 13 CHAMPIONSHIP

Handicap

1. £45 Golf Medal   Championship Trophy

2. £30 Silver medal

3. £20 Bronze medal

 

In the event of any ties for first place in the U15 scratch section there will be a play off on the 1st hole, until there is a winner of the Trophy. If a tie, for a medal, or U13 Scratch or handicap trophies these will be decided on a count back basis. All vouchers will be shared.

ALL PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO STAY BEHIND FOR THE PRIZE GIVING.

Tournament Rules for Each Day

  1. All players must register at the Tournament Office at least 20 minutes before their tee time, which will be situated on the main lounge of the clubhouse.
  2. All players must be on the tee 10 minutes before their allocated tee time.
  3. NO CADDIES ARE ALLOWED
  4. Distance Measuring Devices are allowed
  5. The local rules on the club scorecard will be incorporated in the event.
  6. Only one prize per person allowed, highest value given
