Unless specifically stated, players must take relief from all GUR in the general area, in accordance with Rule 16.1.

With reference to the roped off works in the former bunkers on the RHS of the 9th and 10th greens, these are to be treated as GUR and relief must be taken in accordance with Rule 16.1.

Handicaps:  A current official handicap is required to compete for the major prizes on offer.
Local Rule: For a lost ball at any point on the course (including Out of Bounds), SGA has adopted Model Local Rule E-5, which allows “Alternative to Stroke and Distance”. • Note that most clubs require that shirts have a "traditional collar" (and not the high-neck "Mandarin" style collar)
  • Shorts must (generally) not be "Cargo style" (i.e. excessive pockets). Most clubs also do not allow open-toed shoes in clubhouses.

  • Rake bunkers (properly) after use, and replace rakes according to the course's requirements.
  • Mind all signage, especially regarding carts & buggies (i.e. cart paths, no-go zones, roped off areas etc).
  • Do not take carts/buggies onto greens or aprons

As always, please play READY GOLF, keep up with the group in front and be aware of your group’s pace.

Scoring with the Golf Genius (GG) App:

Format for Stableford competition is in Golf Genius. Golf Genius will automatically generate the score. Please see Dean before playing if any of the following is unclear:

  • Any player can score for up to 3 players. You cannot score for yourself.  So, each group will have at least 2 people scoring.
  • Log into the app via your email and password (i.e., don’t go in via a previous GGID).
  • Check-In when at the course.  The Today’s Events window may require you to swipe to find our event and see the Check-In option.
  • Choose your players to mark for in the player list when at your starting tee.

You are ready to play!

  • Just put down the stroke score for each hole. GG converts the stroke scores for Stableford results. If you have a wipe, just put in X as the score.
  • At the end of the round, you need to confirm the scoring before we can start the results and presentations. Please check with your playing partners re accuracy at the end of your round before confirming the scores.

Live Leaderboard

  • The GG App also supplies a live leaderboard which is active for 14 holes.  (after that, scores are hidden until the presentation)
  • If you are not entering scores, you can still enter the GGID into the app and follow leaderboard.
