KWGA Interclub & Challenge Cup shirt 2025 - please respond by 9pm Oct 31st.
Email sent by Brenda Candelet….
Good afternoon all…please see below the SanSoleil shirt/s which is the selected design for 2025 for KWGA.
If you would like to order a shirt, or shirts, please let me know by 9pm Thursday October 31st. We need to submit an order on Friday to ensure we can be certain of getting all the sizes we need.
I have sent this to all KWGA members, so if you were at the meeting this morning, and filled in the sheet which was circulated, you do not need to reply, as I have your order already.
San Soleil shirts fit true to size and the sizes available to order range are XS-S-M-L-XL.
MSRP is $104, but we can expect a discount through the Proshop.
Also, we just learnt we have the option to have our Kingwood logo on the shirts…..please let me know which you prefer….Logo or No Logo…..a text stating “Logo” or “No Logo“ to me at 281 748 7911 will be just fine….. obviously, the majority preference will win on this one.

COK erroneously charged the luncheon cost to your individual member account. They will be reversing that charge within the next week. So please check that if you were charged, look for the credit either on this month or next month’s billing.
Once all expenses get tallied, Bev Henderson and Angie Swanagon will let us know how much we raised for Project mammogram.
Every year, KWGA decorates the Club for Christmas.

Switch Leagues next year?
If there are members wishing to switch leagues next year, from 9 to 18 or from 18 to 9, tell either Joan Rendl/Kakie Palmer or Beth Mendgen and we will communicate that to each other (and to Chris and the Treasurer) so you will be in the correct roster next year.
Course credits.
Due to the Marsh course closing permanently, Marsh course credit is no longer required to be eligible for Year End Awards. So starting this year, to be eligible for Year End Awards, everyone needs 6 course credits on a Ringered playday.
18-Hole League needs to play the Lake, Island and Forest courses twice and 9-Hole League needs to play the front and back of each course.
Remaining Ringered days:
KWGA18 = Nov 5, 12, 19
KWGA9= Nov 5 & Nov 19
KWGA Saturday Play
Nov 2 Forest course. The tee times reserved start 10:30, 10:39, 10:48 & 10:57 AM.
Nov 9 Island: 10:30, 10:39, 10:48, 10:57 AM
Nov 16: TBD. Last Ringered Saturday Playday of 2024.
If you can’t play on Tuesday, Saturday Play is a great way to still get in a course credit.
In order to play "legal" so that your score counts towards Year End awards and to receive course credit, you did not participate in the previous Tuesday playday (which includes starting but then withdrawing). There will need to be two "legal" players in a division (18 or 9) to count as a KWGA official Saturday Playday. Otherwise, you can play just for fun. If you are interested, email Kakie Palmer at kakiepalmer@gmail.com.
