Last year we raised $5,000. Let’s come together in force once again.
Brooke Baugh, the Director of Development and Programs, shared with us the following accomplishments for Project Mammogram this year:
This year Project Mammogram served 510 women in our area
(20% increase over the prior year)
196 Screening Mammograms were completed
264 Diagnostic Mammograms were completed
278 Ultrasounds were completed
36 Biopsies were needed and completed
7 Cancers were diagnosed
Help!
The Nominating Committee is seeking a volunteer for Pairings Chair on the 2025 Board.
See the description of the duties below per our By-laws. You will be part of the 2025 Board to attend the quarterly Board and the Quarterly General Meetings to have a part in the workings of the organization and how it is run.
Section 4. The Second Vice-President/Handicap, Rules and Pairings Chair shall be responsible for overseeing Playday pairings and check-in. She shall be responsible for membership handicaps and flights, working in conjunction with the Playday Chair. She shall organize Rules Clinics for the membership. She shall appoint as many members to assist her as she may deem necessary. She shall work with the other Officers and Committee Chairs as needed to support their respective roles.
Section 4. The Executive Committee shall have control of the management of the affairs, finances, property and policies of the KWGA, subject to the Constitution
and By-Laws of the Association.
NOTE-
For the last few years our Pairings chairs have been at every Check-in greeting you with a smile to answer questions, handing last minute changes and monitoring the Pots signup and distribution.
In years past it has been said that there were volunteers on a rotating basis to handle Check-in and Pots was handled by a Pots committee chair.
So if the thought of having to be at every Check-in is scaring you off, realize you can coordinate getting volunteers to sign up for a shift(s) but you yourself do not necessarily have to be the one there each week.
Will you volunteer? Please reply to this email or contact Joan Rendl 571-259-2240 or JRendl3@comcast.net by October 14. Thank you!!

Thank you!!
