Next KWGA18 Playday: Tues June 25, 2024

Tuesday June 25: “O.N.E.S” on Lake* (guest day).

Note- We were originally scheduled for Island course but it is still closed this week for aeration and bunker replacement so we will be playing the Lake.

 

KWGA Guest Day Policy

Guests are non-COK members. They pay only cart fees only -greens fees are waived. This counts as one of their plays (6 total per year, one per month). 

A COK member may play one time only as a perspective KWGA member.  

Guests must have a handicap in keeping with league limits.

Guests do not participate in the game or the pots.

 

Tee time starts continue. Sign up as usual by replying to Chris’ email as playing or in Golf Genius under Round Signup. Chris will send out an email with your tee-time on Monday.

 

 Check-in at tent outside Pro Shop 30 minutes prior to your tee-time. Please be on time!

 

If you are cancelling or adding after Sunday noon deadline:

PRINT YOUR FULL NAME (first and last) on the Sign-up sheets. Signatures and initials are difficult to distinguish and decipher. So please just take a few more seconds to assure your name is LEGIBLE!!

Where do you stand with your course credits?

To be eligible for Year-End Awards you must play each course twice on Ringered Playdays. How many course credits have you earned so far this year?

 

You can keep track of your course credits on Golf Genius:

Go to Member Portal,

Results,

Player Analytics,

In Select a Division, select All Golfers,

In Series: use drop-down to select All Ringered Rounds, and then very important to hit Go.

Scroll down to your name and select.

It will then list all the Ringered games you have played this year.

Note for some you have to hit the “i” to see what course was played.

 

Also in Series, You could select each Ringered course individually, but all Ringererd provides you the comprehensive list.

         

There are still many Playdays left in the year so keep signing up to play!

 

 

Saturday Play

If you are interested in being on (or off) the distribution list for playing on Saturday, email Kakie Palmer at kakiepalmer@gmail.com.

In order to play "legal" so that your score counts towards Year End awards and to receive course credit, you did not participate in the previous Tuesday playday (which includes starting but then withdrawing). There will need to be two "legal" players in a division (18 or 9) to count as a KWGA official Saturday Playday. Otherwise, you can play just for fun.

Reply to Kakie’s email by midnight Thursday (this will allow Chris time to print the Golf Genius scorecards and record nonlegal players on the tee time sheet.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to play or you will need to invoke the 2 stroke penalty rule for late arrivals.

Tuesday July 9: “Blind Partners” on Island*.

Tuesday July 16: NO KWGA PLAYDAY

 Entry fee $60 per person which includes golf, carts, lunch and prizes.

Optional $2 Closest to the Pin contest – Pay in cash, day of Interclub Check-In.
