Message from your President -  Feb 23, 2024

--- News for the 18 Hole League ---

Next KWGA Playday: Tues February 27

February 27, 2024: President’s Cup Tournament and Luncheon

18 hole ringered (If you want your score to be ringered you need to hole out all the holes) tournament!

We will be playing a Pick your own 4 some 2 Best Ball event. Winners will be credited for low team gross and low team net. If you don’t have a team, sign up and we will make a team.

One individual with the low net score becomes the Presidents Cup Champion, but the winner stays hidden until the end of the year and is announced and presented the trophy at the End of Year Brunch. Liz Curtis is our defending Presidents Cup winner!

Optional lunch at LAKESIDE TERRACE following play is included for prior Presidents and $24 member charged for members.

Sign up will be in golf genius for all members (lunch and play separate sign up).

Check-in time, tent outside Pro Shop: 8:00-8:40

There will be POTS for this Tournament!

NEW!  -POTS-  NEW!

Bring your quarters if you wish to join in the various 50 cent pots.

18-hole league has 3 (CTP, Chip-ins, Low putts)

NEW: There will now be pens, instead of pencils to sign up (pencil can be too light to read).

NEW: PRINT YOUR FULL NAME (first and last). Signatures and initials are difficult to distinguish and decipher. So please just take a few more seconds to assure your name is LEGIBLE!!

NOT NEW, but still true: The Closest to the Pin markers are for those that put money in the POT. If you didn’t put money in the pot, please don’t sign your name at the hole.

AT END OF PLAY - ALWAYS CHECK THAT YOUR SCORECARD AND GOLF GENIUS MATCH

Salad Bar is coming back on Tuesdays starting in March

It’s been told that Salad Bar after golf was a pretty popular thing Pre-Covid. So thank you Jillian Jordan, Director of Restaurants, for giving it a try to see if more ladies will stay for lunch after golf. This will only be on Tuesdays. Come eat and socialize after play!
