Event Overview
Registration Closes: August 26 at 11:00 p.m.
Registration Fee: $250.00 per player (includes cart fees/range fees/lunches/prizes)
Format: 36 holes of individual stroke play, two-day event
Eligibility: Open to any male amateurs who are members of a PAGA Member Club or an Individual Member of the PAGA. PAGA Individual Members must be residents of the state of Pennsylvania.
Divisions: Championship Division (amateurs at least 40 years old), Senior Division (55-64 years of age) & Super-Senior Division (65 years or older). Senior Division will be paired among Championship Division and will be eligible for overall Championship. The Super-Senior Division will play a forward tee at approximately 6,000 yards. Championship tee will be approximately 6,600 yards.
Field: Limited to 111 entries. Exempted players will have priority while the rest of the field is filled with at-large players.
Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required for this event. The fee of $35 per person per day is included with your entry fee and includes range balls.
Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.
Practice Rounds: Call the Golf Shop to schedule a time at 814-238-0161. Practice round rate is $75 including cart. Centre Hills does not take credit cards, please be prepared to pay cash, check or club charge back.
Hotel: TBD
Pairings: Play will be in threesomes at 10-minute intervals. Final-round pairings will be based on player’s first round score. Super-Senior Division entrants will play first on day two followed by the Championship Division.
Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form, will determine pairings and tee times.
Ties: Sudden-death playoff for overall Championship and Super-Senior immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.
Prizes: The individual with the lowest gross score after 36 holes will be declared the Art Wall Memorial Champion, and his name engraved on the trophy. Additional prizes will be awarded to the low finishers in the Championship & Super-Senior Division.
The individual with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Super-Senior Art Wall Memorial Champion. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.
Prizes will also be awarded to the team (team members must be from the same club) that posts the best two scores of three for the two rounds of the event.
