Welcome to the Junior Team Championship 2024 .


This year we have migrated to Golf Genius for tournament management. Under this, Junior Organisers (JO) will register as the main contact (with their email address and personal password) and thereafter they will control all aspects of their team's registration by accessing the system with that email and password.  The JO will input each player's individual details into the system : name, sex, membership (CDH) number, date of birth, Affiliated (Home) Club (and if available, email address and mobile phone number).  It will also be easy to amend the team details, even replacing team members, at any time up until entries close - the JO is in charge with their email and password.


Entry fees for 2024 are £30 per team and will be collected via Stripe, a card payment system integrated within Golf Genius.  It can also process refunds automatically when a team needs to withdraw before entries close - if the JO deletes the full team entry from the system, a refund will be paid.  So the JO will need to make arrangements with their club secretary/office on how payments and/or reimbursements will be made - e.g. which credit card should be used.
 

If the JO can also provide a mobile phone number then, together with their email address, this will allow for efficient communication with them which is particularly useful if there are any late changes to the event. Last year there was a situation when a major accident occurred near the host club and another when an event was cancelled due to the heat. 

 

You may also like to consider downloading the Golf Genius App to your phone which will get you closer to the information relating to each competition - you log in with your email address and set your own password.  The "GGID" that you may see mentioned is a Golf Genius ID code which can refer to individual competitions (or to even more specific information within a competition).
