FLOGAS IRISH AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP – Additional Local Rules (see GI Hard Card)

Unless otherwise notes, the penalty for breach of the foregoing rules is the General Penalty (2 strokes).

Out of Bounds (Rule 18):

• Seashore, Right of Holes 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17 as defined by White Posts.
• Outside the Boundaries of the Course – Right of 1st Hole and at rear of 1st Green; Right of 2nd Hole; Over the Drain Right of the 5^th & 6th Holes and right of 7th Hole as defined by White Stakes (when playing these Holes); Rear of 9th Green; Left of 11th Hole; Car Park defined by Hard Surface; and the Clubhouse and its enclosure as defined by Fence, Kerbing and White Line.
• Greenkeepers’ Compound and Sheds left of the 1st and 3rd fairways as defined by White Posts and Line.

Integral Objects: Bridges (including those with artificial covering); Stakes & Support Wires adjacent to inside of Boundary Walls and Fences;

Moveable Obstructions (Rule 15): Bunker Rakes; Trafficking Ropes and their Supporting Posts and Red & Yellow Penalty Area Stakes; Black & White Indicator Posts.

Immoveable Obstructions (Rule 16): Artifically-surfaced roads and paths; Seats; Rain Shelters; all Distance Markers; Watering Points; Sleeper Steps; Plastic Grids; Timber and Concrete edges to Roads and Paths; Pilot House on 18th Hole; Water Pump and Concrete Base on 15th Hole; Water Fonts and their concrete bases on 8th and 14th Holes; Tee Box Marker Stones; Fixed Permanent Course Signage, and on-Course Score-Boards & Sponsorship Signage.
