REGISTRATION
All contestants must register with the PNGA, at Seattle Golf Club, outside the main clubhouse entrance, prior to playing in the PNGA Lamey Cup (register before your practice round). The following registration hours have been scheduled:
TUESDAY, MAY 7: Registration 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
SCHEDULE
TUESDAY, MAY 7: Practice Rounds 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 8: Four-Ball Matches 7:30 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. #1 and #10 tees
WEDNESDAY, MAY 8: Foursome Matches 1:00 p.m. – 1:50 p.m. #1 and #10 tees
THURSDAY, MAY 9: Singles Matches 7:30 a.m. – 8:58 a.m. #1 and #10 tees
PLAYOFF
If there is a tie between teams after scheduled play, a playoff format is in place which will break the tie based on the head to head record of the teams involved.
PRACTICE ROUND
Each contestant may play one complimentary practice round at Seattle Golf Club prior to the championship. Practice rounds will be available from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7. Players must schedule practice round times through the online registration portal.
DRESS CODE
Players must follow the PNGA Dress Code at all times while on host club property. Players will be encouraged to wear matching team uniforms (i.e., shirts, outerwear, etc.) with their respective association logo or the PNGA Lamey Cup logo, provided by their own association.
CELL PHONE POLICY
All contestants and caddies must adhere to the Seattle Golf Club cell phone policy at all times. All ring tones must be turned off or switched to vibrate mode at all times. Phone calls must not be made unless seated inside a vehicle in the parking lot or in a designated phone booth in the locker room. The full policy is available online HERE.
GOLF SHOP
The golf shop will open each day from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
CADDIES
Players are permitted to have a caddie. Host club caddies are not available. All caddies are required to wear a bib distributed on the first tee.
AUTOMOTIVE CARTS
The use of automotive carts during play will be permitted. Carts are complimentary and will be staged outside the golf shop each morning. Players are not required to use a cart.
RANGE BALLS
Range balls will be available at the driving range during the practice round and on each day of the championship, courtesy of the PNGA. The range will be open each day from 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
CLUB STORAGE
Club storage will be available to players beginning on Tuesday, May 7 and is complimentary. Arrangements can be made in the golf shop.
LOCKER ROOM
The men’s and women’s locker rooms will be available. Individual lockers will not be available.
PAYMENT METHODS
All major credit cards, cash and charge back to private clubs are accepted in the golf shop.
Reciprocal charges to private clubs and charges to the PNGA master account are the only accepted forms of payment inside the clubhouse. Players may charge to the PNGA master account under their name beginning on Tuesday, May 7 for food and beverage services. The PNGA will bill players directly for food and beverage charges following the championship.
CONTESTANT LUNCHES
A buffet lunch, hosted by the PNGA, will be in the Upstairs Dining Room on Wednesday, May 8 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and on Thursday, May 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If a player plans to have a guest for lunch (spouse, caddie, etc.) on either day, they must register and pay the associated fee online prior to April 19. Guest lunches are $30 (USD) per day.
CONTESTANT BANQUET
The banquet, hosted by the PNGA, will take place on Wednesday, May 9 in the Main Dining Room. No-host cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner following at 7:30 p.m. The banquet is a formal affair; appropriate banquet or dinner attire is required. This may include dresses, skirts, pants, blouses, sweaters, blazers, etc. for women and coat and ties for men. Each player may bring one guest. Players must register their guests online and pay the associated fee prior to April 19. The guest banquet fee is $60 (USD). Contestants are required to attend the banquet.
FOOD SERVICE (NO-HOST)
The grill room will open from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. each day with no-host food and beverage service available to players.
AWARDS CEREMONY
The awards presentation ceremony will be held in the Upstairs Dining Room on Thursday, May 9 and will begin immediately after all matches have been completed (approximately 2:00 p.m.). Contestants are required to attend the awards ceremony to its entirety.
PRIZES
The traveling crystal perpetual PNGA Cup trophy will be held at the winning association’s headquarters for the ensuing year. Each member of the winning team will receive a Kusak crystal trophy. The winning associations name will be inscribed on the silver perpetual “PNGA Lamey Cup” that is housed at the PNGA offices.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The PNGA expects all contestants, caddies, gallery, and guests to exhibit proper conduct and behavior on the golf course and anywhere on club property during a PNGA championship. Unbecoming conduct or behavior may be grounds for immediate disqualification, at any time, from any PNGA event.
