About Sunningdale Golf Club

Join us for a bucket list day at the world beating Sunningdale Golf Club in Surrey, England.

We have a small but perfectly formed itinerary for you, to take in the history and class of this World’s Top 100 Mainstay. After your buffet breakfast with bucks fizz, the Harry Colt (who was Secretary at Sunningdale) designed New Course, which does stretch the use of the word “new” given it opened 100 years ago in 1923, awaits. Then to lunch in the dining room (jackets for gentlemen), followed by a round on the Old Course, designed in 1901 by Willie Park Junior After your second round of the day, it's back to the clubhouse for afternoon tea, and, we expect for some, a nice cold beer

Rules and Information

Golf Format:

The event is played as a four-ball better ball format off 85% of your official handicap using stableford scoring under the rules of golf, and following WHS guidance.

As in any stroke play competition scoring putts must be holed, there is no such thing as a gimme in stroke play competition where you are playing against a field.

Handicap Certificates:

All handicaps will be checked online. Please have a certificate or Golf App available on your phone to show the team.  You may wish to have a certificate on your phone available in case of issues as WHS is not always perfect.

Prizes:

Prizes will be sent out after the event either by email for vouchers or by post with 72 hours of the event. This allows for time to do handicap checks before awarding any prizes. There will be no prizes handed out on the day or any prize giving. Please also be aware that if email addresses are not provided for all golfers upon registration it can be very difficult for the winner to receive their prize.

Golf Carts:

We permit the use of golf carts for medical reasons only.  We accept self certification.  Please arrange directly with the club.
